About Us

Our Values

  1. We value the presence of God

We value and prioritize personal and corporate prayer which results in a deeper more powerful relationship with God

Acts 1:14 “They all joined together constantly in prayer…”

  1. We value Spirit Empowerment

The Holy Spirit is our Friend who empowers us to serve, worship, love and witness.  Through worship, prayer and pursuing a Spirit filled life, we experience a powerful and fruitful life of following Jesus and serving His purposes.

      • Acts 1:8 “You shall receive power after the Holy Spirit has come upon you…”

  1. We value biblical engagement

Consistently engaging with God’s Word results in transformed minds, hearts and behavior.  We believe God’s Word is God’s revelation to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.  The Word of God aligns our thinking to God’s thinking and transforms our lives.

·       Acts 2:42 “They devoted themselves to the apostle’s teaching…”

  1. We value a Great Commission Culture

We spread the message of Jesus, making disciples both locally and globally, and living out the Great Commission in every aspect of our lives.  We equip and believers to share the gospel with those in their sphere of influence.  Our hearts are global – we desire to obey the great commission by sending, supporting and serving in Jerusalem (our community) our Judea and Samaria (our state and country) and the uttermost parts of the earth (the entire world).  We envision 100 ministers and missionaries being raised up and sent from this church.

      • Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…”
      • Acts 1:8 “You shall receive power after the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be witnesses unto me in Jerusalem, in Judea and Samaria and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”

  1. We value Community

We are created by a God of community for community.  We are designed to grow together, serve together and love together.  There are 56 “one another” commandments in the New Testament that direct us to serve God as a community of believers.  Isolation is the enemy of spiritual growth.

Acts 2:44-46 “All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and                possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple

courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,”

  1. We value Everyone as a Minister

Every believer is a minister with a unique purpose in the body of Christ. We are committed to helping people discover their identity and purpose in Christ so that they will serve God’s purposes by serving others.  We believe that God has already provided for the needs of our community by depositing gifts, talents and resources into His Bride, the Church. Those gifts, talents and resources should be activated to meet the needs of others.  We believe in a team approach to ministry.

Acts 6:3 “…choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We              will turn this responsibility over to them…”

  1. We value Every Generation

God created us to be a family of believers.  We value the contributions and value of every generation. From the youngest to the oldest, we believe that each generation brings strength and wisdom, contributing to the vibrancy and health of the church.  We will intentionally celebrate, develop and disciple the next generation to serve the Lord.

·      Ephesians 1:5 "God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ."

·      1 Timothy 4:12 “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
