The Certified Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for ensuring all surgical supplies, instrumentation and equipment are properly tested and functioning. This position is responsible to decontaminate, assemble, inspect, package, sterilize, store and distribute instrumentation according to the priorities. These areas include the OR, Outpatient Surgery, L&D, ED, Urgent Care, Family Health Clinic and all other inter-departments to provide sterile instrumentation for daily operations.Must hold and maintain a Certification as: CRCST, CBSPT, or CST. Must have at least one (3) years of progressive work experience in Sterile Processing.
