This is an entry to mid-level sales and customer service position. It is a salary plus performance incentive position.

As an assistant logistics manager, the individual will develop and foster relationships with customers and carriers over the phone by prospecting consistent capacity from carriers,  matching trucks with available freight and negotiating freight rates with providers.  The assistant logistics monitor will support the Account Manager by monitoring/tracking shipments in progress and helping to ensure service standards are being met. 

Candidate must be a self-motivated, relentless individual who embracing problem solving situations.
