Qualifications for Employment:

**Born-again Christian with a solid commitment to a local, Bible believing church of like doctrine to Troy First Baptist Church and a growing relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ

**For just the music instructor:  High School Diploma, experience or credentials to demonstrate musical abilities to fulfill this position
**If combining music with classroom teacher position:  Minimum of a BA degree with preference for applicants with a degree in education with a teaching certificate or certifiable through ACSI
**Love for students with experience and/or education in teaching
**Ability to manage a classroom, organize and teach curriculum, inspire student achievement & promote discipline and structure
**Background experience in the field and willing to teach from a Biblical Worldview
**Strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and interest in the ministry of Christian education
