Job Title: Special Event Lifeguard

Salary: $15/hr.

Our Ideal Candidate is a: 

Veteran Lifeguard, with at least 3-4 years of lifeguarding experience, who has all certifications updated, pool management experience, currently employed and willing to work off duty hours.

LGT Certification 

CPR/AED Certification 

First Aid Certification

Hours: Lifeguards are required to work special events which include mostly evenings and weekends. 

Job Description: ASSA is in search of certified, dependable, mature, reliable, experienced, and professional lifeguards who are available to work year-round at private parties and sports events. Lifeguards must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The primary responsibility is to prevent drowning and other injuries from occurring at your aquatic facility. The lifeguards does this by, monitoring activities in and near the water through patron surveillance, and prevents injuries by minimizing or eliminating hazardous situations or behaviors. Lifeguards are also responsible to enforcing facility rules and regulations and educating patrons about them. Lifeguards must also recognize and responding quickly and effectively to all emergencies 

Certifications: 

LGT Certification Required 

CPR/AED Certification Required 

First Aid Certification Required 

Preferred: 

WSI Certification 

General Requirements: 

·      Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

·      Be authorized to work in the United States.

·      Must have reliable transportation.

·      Must have valid car insurance 

·      Must have a valid driver's license

·      Background check required
