Kingdom Press, parent company of Christians in Business, is celebrating its 25^th Anniversary this year! For 25 years, Kingdom Press has been serving the Christian community by helping churches minister to their first-time guests while meeting their Marketplace Ministry objectives.

Founded in 1987 by Craig and Judy King, Kingdom Press started with just ones sales representative and one designer. They recognized the importance of reaching business owners, managers and independent contractors within the church (who are often the largest contributors and church leaders) by providing them with an opportunity to promote their services to the congregation. They also saw the need for a visitor’s gift that lasted longer than a week or two and could be a useful tool for prospective members. With these ideas in mind, they crafted a Church Business Directory which had room for an index of businesses within the church, a note-keeper, and promotions from supporting sponsors, as well as other incentives uniquely tailored to each church.

Since those early days, hundreds of churches have partnered with Kingdom Press to strengthen the Marketplace Ministry of the church. By producing beautiful, full-color business directories at no cost to the church, Kingdom Press allowed churches to not only meet the needs of their members, but also to create lasting bonds with their business leaders, proving the church is interested in their success. The benefits have been astounding.

After 25 years, Kingdom Press has seen thousands of churches grow and minister more effectively to their Marketplace Leaders.  Since 1987, over 750,000 directories have been provided to churches across the nation at no cost to the church.
