TS01-Technical Support - Entry Level IT position / Help Desk

We offer computer technical assistance to end-users, businesses throughout the US. We also host websites, and have a secure file sharing platform. Job Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with specific excellent communication with a range of user experience levels and who has the chops to do technical things well. While this is an entry level position, we support a vast area of technical challenges. Therefore a quick learning candidate is a must for our small Central Valley based company. 

If you are able to communicate clearly, are comfortable on the phone candidly speaking with customer issues as a Help Desk extension, that is what we need. Some of our local customers require a visit to take care of computer needs.  Ranging from software issues, Macintosh and PC and hardware upgrades (storage and memory and printers) 

We will be providing guidance on all tasks that you are unfamiliar with. We can also provide training on specific software installations, network installations in support of our customers followup issues. We are associated with several lead generation sites that this position will filter and address. 

Vehicle Transportation is required. Mileage reimbursement in addition to hourly compensation will be identified.

Compensation:

$16-$22/hr based on experience

PT/ FT TBD

Medical Benefits offered to those applicants pledging working 30 hours per week

Acrued Vacation / Sick hours available

Flexible onsite Clovis Office

 

Qualifications:

Windows PC 7/10/11 Experience. Apple computers. Networking - Wireless, Broadband setup, Firewalls. Troubleshooting startup issues. Upgrades - hands on installations. PC Builds.

Website build and or maintain experience a plus.

Prior experience with customer support or customer facing support by phone or in person a plus.

Excellent communication skills are required. Both verbal for phone conversation as well as written for updating call log documentation

Team Player Attitude - Strong Work Ethic - Excellent Hygiene

Dress code is work casual - professional. A work shirt will be provided along with a badge for customer visits. 

Detailed orientated - Dot the i's and cross the t's.
